Self-Service Portal

The platform includes a built-in, cloud-based Self-Service Portal, designed to simplify group management and user access for EasyPSK. The portal provides tools for group administrators to monitor connected devices, manage Pre-Shared Keys (PSK), and invite end-users to specific EasyPSK groups with ease.

  • Pre-Shared Key (PSK) Management: Allows authorized users to update and manage group-level PSKs securely.
  • Device Monitoring: Provides real-time visibility into devices connected to EasyPSK.
    • Device type
    • Connected to
    • Upload / Download
    • First Seen / Last seen
  • User Management: Enables administrators to add, update, or remove users within a group.

Each tenant has a unique login URL for accessing the Self-Service Portal, with an optional global URL for broader access. The platform supports the following login methods:

  • Magic Link Login: A secure email-based login with a magic link (default option).
  • SAML 2.0 Federated Login (SSO): Allows Single Sign-On for enterprise environments.

The platform supports role-based access control, ensuring users receive appropriate permissions. Available roles include:

  1. User (Default Role):
    • View connection details, including the Pre-Shared Key (PSK).
  2. Group Administrator:
    • Update the Pre-Shared Key (PSK).
    • Monitor connected devices within the group.
    • Add, update, or remove Self-Service users in the group.

Group administrators are empowered to maintain control over group settings while delegating limited permissions to other users.

The platform supports auto-enrollment to streamline user onboarding. When users log in with an email address that matches a pre-configured domain policy, their accounts are automatically created in the portal. These users are assigned a predefined profile based on the organization’s domain policy.

  • Default Roles for Auto-Enrolled Users:
    • User (Default): Limited to viewing connection details and the PSK.
    • Group Administrator: Includes permissions for PSK updates, device monitoring, and user management within the group.

This feature simplifies the onboarding process for end-users while maintaining control over access permissions.

  • Efficiency: Reduces administrative overhead by enabling self-service management for group administrators.
  • Security: Ensures granular access control and secure PSK management.
  • Scalability: Supports multi-user and multi-group environments with automated enrollment and SSO options.
  • User Experience: Simplifies access for end-users with a clean, intuitive interface and secure login options.
