Service Description
This Service Description sets out what the Netgraph Connectivity Platform delivers, how it works at a functional level, the requirements and dependencies that apply, and how responsibility is shared between the customer, the partner, and Netgraph. It is intended for use in sales, procurement, contracts, onboarding, and as a technical annex.
It describes the service. It is not a configuration manual. Step-by-step guidance is published separately in the product documentation.
What the platform is
Section titled “What the platform is”The Netgraph Connectivity Platform is a cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS for network access, identity, and device management. It governs how employees, guests, BYOD devices, and IoT equipment connect to the network, and it provides self-service so that day-to-day access administration can be delegated to the teams or vendors that own the equipment or the customer relationship.
The platform delivers four services on a shared administrative foundation: a common administration portal, a self-service portal, role-based access control, audit logging, configuration webhooks, and a multi-language interface. Each service can be taken on its own or in combination.
