The challenge

A new venue, every other weekend

Formula E doesn't race at one stadium — it races wherever the city lets it. Each round means a temporary network on temporary infrastructure, serving an audience that ranges from FIA officials to fans buying their first ticket.

Pop-up venues

A new street circuit every other weekend. The portal must look and behave identically in São Paulo, Berlin and Tokyo — even when the underlying VLANs, AP firmware and uplink providers differ city by city.

Three guest profiles, one portal

Press centres need quick credentialed sign-in. VIP and hospitality guests need a frictionless branded flow. Experience-centre visitors need short-lived day passes. Same SSID stack, three policies, zero confusion.

Consent at scale

Every email captured at the hospitality portal is GDPR-compliant by design — verifiable opt-in, double-confirmation, and an audit trail that Formula E can hand to regulators on demand.

The portal

Branded in seconds.
Identical in every venue.

The Sign In module presents a Formula E-branded splash on the hospitality SSID — same fonts, same imagery, same email-opt-in flow whether the guest is in Tokyo or São Paulo. Hosts in the back-office swap the artwork and translate the consent copy per region; the underlying policy stays untouched.

  • Verified-email gate (double opt-in)
  • GDPR consent + audit trail per signup
  • Locale-aware UI · 12 languages active
  • Daily limits, rate-limits, abuse rules

The control plane

One dashboard. All venues.

Operators at TPO and Formula E watch a single console. Devices online, login velocity, verified-email totals, active policies and traffic shaping are visible in real time — across whichever city the championship is currently in.

  • Sign In statistics · per-event drilldown
  • Email Self Provision · GDPR audit trail
  • Quick Access · per-host code rotation
